📖 Sacred Origin

According to ancient legends, the devotee Devaludu was attacked by powerful demons. In response to his sincere prayers, Adi Shakti manifested in her fierce form, destroyed the evil forces and protected her devotee. Since then, she has been worshipped as Sri Chowdeshwari Devi (Chowdamma).

🕉️ Nandavaram Legend

King Nandabhupala, blessed by Sri Dattatreya Swamy with divine footwear, travelled daily to Kashi for worship. During one journey, the divine power ceased unexpectedly and 500 Rigveda scholars performed sacred Vedic rituals to help the royal couple return safely, making this story an everlasting symbol of faith.
